I’ve already got Car Talk and Lehto’s Law... what are your favorite picks for car related podcasts?

Everyday Driver is pretty great. I’ve tried listening to Smoking Tire but it’s just not for me.

I’m bending the rules a bit here, but Alice Isn’t Dead. It’s a fictional ten part miniseries, but it revolves around a trucker monologuing through her CB radio. Also it’s one of the best stories I’ve ever heard.

The Smoking Tire is the best.

Nah that’s too much money, no title and with just some team clear coat issues, that’s what makes the show a bargain. It’ll be up and smoking tires in no time.

I’ve got the free t-shirts to prove I wrote bits for Car Talk ... true story. And they used them. Ray and I had a phone conversation. He’s every bit as nice as you’d expect.

Slipangle is good. Done by a few guys who run a bunch of track events, including Gridlife.
I also like the Grassroots Motorsports podcast a lot. Some really good interviews on there.

I’ve added What Drives Us to my rotation, which is mostly retrocomputing podcasts.
(In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a shameless nerd.)

Fair warning, it goes weird early and stays there, and if you hate cliffhangers it’ll make you want to throw things. But the way her descriptions paint a picture, of everything from the night sky to driving across the country to darkness itself, is incredible. And if you let yourself get into it the story becomes so compelling and intriguing you’ll just want to take an afternoon and listen to the whole thing at once

That sounds great!!! If you’ve ever seen my posts, I like weird ha ha. It’s already on my phone.
